**THOSE HARMONICA GUYS** - Tap Your Toes
**Those Harmonica Guys **
Together Ingo and Doug form the duo :
"Those Harmonica Guys"... their main focus being on the very large market of Retirement Homes in the GTA area whose residents are always very eager to hear the music of  their life. The sight of the flashing harmonicas is almost as exiting as the music and the first ten minutes or so of every show, the attention is almost entirely on Doug as he plays his two foot monster harmonica! Our show is so unique and most residents are amazed that we get :"All that wonderful sound" with just harmonicas. They just can't believe it!
We do bring our own premium sound system for optimum pleasure.
The music and humouros presentation is just what the residents like and the most heard comment after a show is always : "When will you be back again?"
The main focus is on harmonica music, but we have fun with the residents and try to get them involved in singing and in other ways. When announcing that the next number would be " All of Me ", one resident growled:
" Yeah, ALIMONY ! "  - and he brought the house down...lot's of fun!

The Chromatic harmonica  a relatively new musical instrument dating back to the mid nineteen twenties. The "Hohner Marine Band", a diatonic harmonica is probably the best known forerunner to the chromatic harmonica.
If you visualize a piano keyboard with the white and the black keys, the diatonic would represent the white keys only while the chromatic would represent both the black and the white keys which enables one to play any melody in any key...all however dependent on the skill and proficiency of the player.
You might call a chromatic harmonica a concert harmonica if you will and that's what makes it such a wonderful instrument in a harmonica duo.
Two feet long and with almost four hundred reeds, makes the Chord harmonica the worlds largest harmonica. It's  basically a rhythm instrument comparable to a guitar.Playing the chord requires an amazing memory and dexterity which Doug possesses in abundance.
We also play the worlds smallest harmonica just one inch long.
Ingo plays an incredible version of " My Blue Heaven" holding the harmonica entirely in his mouth with no hands!

We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our website. There's much more to come!
